1-37233368 - The reporter indicated that she was exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredient Ferric HEDTA. The reporter stated that 1.5 weeks prior to initial contact with the registrant, while the reporter was at work, she accidentally used this product as a counter cleanser. She washed her hands 45 minutes after the exposure but by that time her fingers were burning. At the time of the initial call the reporter indicates that her hands were still burning, sore and numb. The reporter was advised that the dermal contact may cause transient skin irritation which may be alleviated with vitamin E or aloe vera containing products. Medical attention was recommended for any persistent symptoms. No further information is available.
