(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
1-36766102 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that her cats were exposed to an insecticidal product containing the active ingredient methoprene. The reporter applied the product to her 2-year-old, 8 pound, female cat (Subform III #1) and to her 9-year-old, 12 pound, male cat (Subform III #2) just prior to initial contact with the registrant and immediately after product application both cats were drooling. The reporter was advised that the product has little to no toxicity in mammals but with ingestion of the product drooling can occur because of the unpleasant taste. On follow-up call, one day later, the reporter indicated that the drooling lasted for about 1 to 1.5 hours and resolved without any medical treatment. No further information is available.
