Product was applied to pet in clinic on Jan 7 2014. 2 days after application, the pet owner noticed the cat scratching at the application site. Approx Jan 13 2014, the owners noticed the cat scratching at the site and noticed a small scab. This scab seems to dry up and resolve. Approx 2 weeks after application, the pet owners noticed a larger scab appear a the application site. The pet was examined Jan 28 2014 and a 6 cm x 3cm scab was noted at the application site along with signs of bacterial infection. The area was washed and clipped and hibitaine (chlorhexadene) was prescribed for topical application. A convenia injection was given. The pet was re-examined Feb 4 2014 and the affected area was improved. Continued cleaning was recommended.
