On 24 September 2013 a producer reported that he used Zuprevo on about 900 head of cattle and had a 12% death loss. Date product was given unknown. No necropsies or diagnostic work has been done. Follow up pending. Follow up 17 October 2013: The producer reported they now are at a 15% death loss. Lab reports show Pasturella, COLIFORMS, and TRUEPERELLA PYOGENES. The processing protocal was also reported in the follow up. Day one: Calves received Zuprevo, SafeGuard, Ultra Boss, Inforce 3 and were tagged. Day 5-7: Calves received Vista Once, Vision 7 Somnus if they were heifers and Cavalry 9 if they were Bulls or Steers. Day 18-21: Calves Received Revlor G, Calvary 9 if they were bulls, Vista 5 and were banded. Treatment of sick calves was Nuflor followed 48 later with Baytil if need. It is unknown how many calves and at what date the calves received Nuflor and hence it is unknown whether any dead ones received Nuflor. No more information expected.
