On an unknown date in approximately March 2013, the cat was found dead in the house. No necropsy was performed. MAH comment: The information regarding the death of the cat was casually provided during an inquiry.

The information regarding the death of the cat was casually provided during an inquiry. Reporting of occurrence at least 7 months after product application makes reliability questionnable. Nevertheless death is not expected as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile and experience. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 24-fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. Death occured on an unknown time after last product exposure. The cause of death of this geriatric cat is probably due to old age as no other cause is given according to case description. No reaction on previous exposure. Overall, a product relation is considered unlikely
