A short time later that day the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS assistant stated that the main concern was for mild gastrointestinal (GI) upset and a taste reaction. The APSS assistant recommended that the owner monitor the cat for GI signs, manage any vomiting, dilute the product with wet food or milk if the cat started drooling again, and call back with questions.
