(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
1-35538621 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that his cats were exposed to an insecticidal spray containing the active ingredients tetrachlorvinphos and methoprene. The reporter applied the spray to his 19 cats approximately two weeks prior to initial contact with the registrant. Fifteen of his cats did not develop any symptoms after exposure. But approximately 72 hours after application the reporters 7-year-old cat (Subform III #1) had a severe seizure that it did not recover from and then died. The reporters other 7-year-old cat (Subform III #2) got big eyes and was staggering back and forth approximately 72 hours after product application. This cat then had a small seizure and died. The reporter also states that his 2-year-old cat (Subform III #3) died of what the reporter believes was a spider bite. The reporter refused to provide any specific symptoms that this cat had prior to its death indicating that the death of this cat was unrelated to the registrant product. The reporter was asked a number of times if the cats were separated after product application or if they might have groomed each other but the reporter refused to provide this information. The reporter did not seek veterinary care for any of his cats due to limited finances. No further information is available.
