On July 16, 2013 the owner noticed that the cat was agitated and pruritic. On July 29, 2013 the owner discovered that the cat had died. On August 2, 2013 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS veterinarian stated that dermal reactions are possible with the use of the product, and they are self-limiting. A necropsy was not available. The APSS veterinarian referred the owner to the product's manufacturer to discuss a refund.
