At an undetermined time after application the patient developed an application site blister. The blister healed on an undetermined date. The patient then passed away several years later due to old age. No necropsy was performed. This case is being reported with the minimal information available. The event occurred several years ago and specific details could not be provided. The level of information in this case is very low. Death occured several years after last product exposure therefore other etiologies for death have to be considered. Nevertheless death is inconsistent with pharmacotoxicological product profile and experience. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 24- fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. The cause of death of this cat is unknown according to case description. Finally, a product relation can be completely excluded.
