1-35255092 - The reporter, a veterinarian, indicated that eight cows were exposed to corn seeds which had been treated with the active ingredients Thiabendazole, thiamethoxam, fludioxonil, metalaxyl-m, abamectin, and Azoxystrobin. The reporter indicated that on the day of initial contact with the registrant about 8 cows got into the barn and ingested approximately 40-50 pounds of treated corn. At the time of the initial call the veterinarian had not yet seen the cows but was told that 2 cows were lethargic. On follow-up call, one day later, the reporter indicated that he treated the 2 cows that were exhibiting symptoms for grain overload but they both died later that night. The reporter believed the death of the two cows was secondary to grain overload and not related to the active ingredients on the treated corn. No further information is available.
