1-34898449 - The reporter, a home owner, indicated that he was exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredient iron EDTA. The reporter an adult male indicated that he applied the product on weeds outside his home 14 days prior to initial contact with the registrant and a couple of days later he used his bare left hand to pull up one of the dead weeds. At the time of the initial call the reporter was complaining of burning and itchy skin on the left hand. The reporter was advised that dermal contact with the wet product may cause transient skin irritation but skin irritation is not expected once the product has dried. Medical attention was recommended to determine a cause and appropriate treatment for the described symptoms. No further information is available.
