1-34879701 - The reporter, a home owner, indicated that she was exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredient iron EDTA. The reporter an adult female indicated that she had applied the product one day prior to initial contact with the registrant and during product application some of the product spilled on her pant leg. Within about one hour she noticed a tingling, itchy sensation on her hip which had nearly resolved by the time the caller initially phoned. At the time of the initial call the reporter had just developed a dry mouth. The reporter was advised that dermal contact with the wet product may cause transient skin irritation but a dry mouth one day after dermal exposure to the product is not consistent with exposure to the product. Medical attention was recommended for any severe or persistent symptoms. No further information is available.
