This was the first time use of the product. The cat is currently at the clinic, however no treatments have been done. The veterinarian reports that the cat passed away on 3/29/11. Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

Initial signs are unspecific and may be related to various other causes. Oral product uptake was not witnessed. Sudden death is not anticipated with topical product administration. Although dog product has been used in this case, death would not be expected. Necropsy revealed a dry form of feline infectious peritonitis which probably is responsible for the cats death. Finally, a product connection was ruled out.
