At an undetermined time after application, in February of 2012, the patient passed away due to old age.

The information regarding the death of the cat was casually provided during an inquiry. The level of information is very low. Duration to onset time unknown. Application date unknown. Nevertheless death is inconsistent with pharmacotoxicological product profile and experience. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 24- fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. The cause of death of this geriatric cat was not described in the case description. Product was used on animal before without causing any signs.
