The reporter indicated that she applied the collar to her 14 year old, male cat (Subform III #1) and to her 6 year old, 15 pound male cat (Subform III #2) fourteen days prior to initial contact with the registrant. Six days prior to initial contact the pet owner noted hair loss, irritated skin and sores around the neck. The pet owner had since removed the collars. The reporter was advised that her cats may be sensitive to the product. Washing the area with non-insecticidal shampoo or dish soap was recommended. Medical attention was advised for any worsening or persistent symptoms. No further information is available.
