On October 30, 2012 the owner noticed that the cat was hiding and inappetent. On November 2, 2012 the owner observed that the cat was also vocalizing, hypothermic, unable to stand, and displaying a pale mucous membrane color. Later that evening, the owner observed that the cat had died. On November 19, 2012 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. A necropsy was not available.
