On September 26, 2012, right after the cat was sprayed with the product, the owner noticed that the cat was symptomatic. Later that day, the owner gave the cat a bath with liquid dish washing detergent (LDWD); the owner bathed the cat with LDWD a total of 4 times. On September 28, 2012 the owner observed that the cat had fully recovered. On October 10, 2012 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS technician stated that if the product were ingested, it could cause a taste reaction and/or mild gastrointestinal (GI) upset. The APSS technician recommended that the owner call back with questions.
