The APSS technician recommended that the owner apply the contents of one capsule of vitamin E to the affected area twice daily, bathe the cat with liquid dish washing detergent (LDWD) if the area was oozing or if the vitamin E did not help, call her veterinarian to discuss what type of product to use if the fleas were not gone after 48 hours, and call back with any questions or concerns.
