(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms

On August 1, 2012 the owner noticed that the cat was drooling and breathing abnormally. Soon after noticing the signs, the owner rinsed the cat's coat and skin with water. Later that evening, the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS veterinarian stated that the concentrations in the product are low enough that signs would not be expected if used per label and that if the cat groomed herself while the product was wet, a taste reaction could be seen consisting of signs such as drooling, nausea, vomiting, and agitation. The APSS veterinarian recommended that the owner take the cat to the veterinarian and have the veterinarian call for information.
