The herbicide was alleged to have increased the palatability of toxic perilla mint plants causing his cattle to consume lethal amounts of the plants resulting in the death of twelve (12) cattle. Plaintiff was allegedly forced to liquidate the remainder of his herd that, as of 8/20/11, consisted of seventy-three (73) cows, five (5) small heifers, fifty-four (54) calves and three (3) angus bulls. The (name) Department of Agriculture's Regulatory Services Division Laboratory prepared an autopsy report that concluded the perilla mint "toxicosis was the cause of death" of the cattle.
