Owner applied advantage 18 at about 7 PM. The cat licked the product and began to drool. The pet was taken to the vet and was given subcutaneous fluids and returned home. The drooling resumed once at home. The pet was then taken to the emergency clinic. At the emergency clinic the cat was drooling and flicking its ears and paws. It was very unhappy about being at the clinic. The advantage application site was wiped off to prevent the cat from licking off any more wet product.
