On June 18, 2012 the owner observed that the kitten had died. On July 1, 2012 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS veterinarian stated that the product would not have been transferred into the mother cat's milk. A necropsy was not available.
