1-30567470- The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her animal had been exposed to an insecticide containing the active ingredient tetrachlorvinphos. The reporter indicated she had applied the product to her eight year male Chihuahua dog a estimated eleven to twelve days prior to her initial report. She reported one week prior to her report the animal was observed withdrawn and with general malaise. The animal was found dead later that day. It was not taken to the veterinarian. No necropsy had been performed. The reporter was advised the signs and outcome were unexpected following use of the product per the label. No further information is available.
