1-30359833-The reporter, a veterinarian, indicated a patient had possibly been exposed to an herbicide that contained the active ingredients mecoprop-p, 2,4-D, dicamba, and dimethylamine. The reporter indicated the five year fifty five pound male Australian Shepherd had possibly consumed some grass to which the product had previously been applied. The product had been applied five to six days prior to the initial report. It is unknown when the animal may have had access to the application site. The animal developed signs of muscle weakness and difficulty rising four days prior to the initial report. The reporter was advised the signs were inconsistent with the expectations of the product. The exposure described would be insufficient to elicit signs beyond mild gastrointestinal upset. This caller was note reached for follow up. No further information is available.
