Pulverisation recente en solution aqueuse par plusieurs pommiculteurs dans des vergers a differents stades de floraison.Neuf prelevements d'abeilles (un prelevement/rucher affecte) sont soumis dans le laboratoire du MAPAQ pour analyse. Detection de plusieurs pesticides dans plusieurs echantillons. Le phosmet est detecte dans chacun des neufs echantillons. Le phosmet est detecte dans chacun des neufs echantillons analyses avec des teneurs variant entre , 427 mg/kg et 3,08 mg/kg. Comme cela est relie avec un historique de pulverisation recente de ce pesticide dans les vergers, nos suspicions portent sur ce pesticide pour expliquer les mortalites. Des quantites variables de divers pesticides sont aussi deceles dans les echantillons. Selon les informations que nous avons, le probleme d empoisonnement aurait ete  remarque une premiere fois le vendredi 18 mai. Des prelevements ont ete fait les 19, 20, 21 mai ( car il y a eu d autres arrosages pendant la fin de semaine et donc d autres signes observes) par les employes de l entreprise apicole affectee. Notre veterinaire regional a aussi preleve des abeilles le 23 et 24 mai. Les abeilles ont ete congelees rapidement lors de chaque prelevement.

Produit le plus fortement suspecte: Imidan (phosmet). L'apiculteur possede plus de 4000 colonies d'abeilles. Plusieurs ruchers sont en milieu agricole avec nombreux vergers dans cette region. Neuf ruchers sont affectes avec un total de 615 ruches. Ils sont otus a proximite de vergers. Mortalite d'abeilles acrue au devant des ruches. Depopulation tres marques de celles-ci avec forte baisse d'activities aux entrees. Baisse marquee de la ponte des reines. Aucune colonie n'est totalement morte. Recuperations lente.
