The possible adverse effect identified in the study was described to the US EPA by DAS LLC as follows: A higher tier investigation into bioaccumulation of quinoxyfen in different trophic levels of aquatic organisms revealed that quinoxyfen exhibited a higher bioconcentration factor (BCF) in algae, Daphnia and in larger trout greater than the BCF in smaller trout previously reported to the US EPA. Please note that neither DAS LLC nor DASCI have concluded that this information constitutes an unreasonable adverse effect on the environment.
