1-29788908- The reporter indicated a family member was exposed to an herbicidal product containing the active ingredient Iron (Ferric HEDTA). He reported his elderly mother had gotten the product on her hands within two hours of the call. He indicated the skin on her little finger was turning white and the skin was peeling. The caller was advised minor dermal irritation may be observed after dermal exposure. He was advised of proper decontamination and over the counter symptomatic care that may be offered. On follow up three days later the reporter indicated his mothers symptoms resolved within a few hours. She did not see a doctor. No further information is available.
