On May 20, 2011 the owner noticed the dog became symptomatic. On May 28, 2011 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated generalized dermatitis is more consistent with pyoderma due to allergies, whereas with the product one might expect more of a contact dermatitis. The APSS veterinarian provided information on the owner's question on permethrin.
