After applying the product to the cat on the evening of March 25th, 2011 the cat became symptomatic. On March 26th, 2011 the caller noticed the cat seemed ok and slightly symptomatic. On March 28th caller stated that the cat would not eat so they took him to the vet. The cat was treated at the clinic for trauma and provided hydration, blood tests were also done.

The cat died at the clinic on March 28th, 2011. Necropsy was not performed as cat had already been cremated. Per company veterinarian, the product was determined doubtfully related.
