Accidental ingestion/Ingestion accident.
(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
Owner had put out about 2 tbsp of the product around a doorway. Owner did not see the dog licking at the product. Owner suspects Darnit had walked through the product and then licked the product off his paws. The two Eskimos may have done the same. Owner stated there is a fourth dog in the home, but it has been doing fine. The owner was advised that ingestion of a small amount of this product would be unlikely to cause clinical signs. If enough ingested, might see mild nausea. Silicon based products pass readily through the gut and are very poorly absorbed. With the amount the owner put out, there is not enough to be of serious concern. If the signs continue, the dog(s) should be seen by a vet. With multiple dogs being affected, there is concern for possible parasites or contagious infections
Minor
The information contained in this report is based on self-reported statements provided to the registrant during telephone Interview(s). These self-reported descriptions of an incident have not been independently verified to be factually correct or complete descriptions of the incident. For that reason, information contained in this report does not and can not form the basis for a determination of whether the reported clinical effects are causally related to exposure to the product identified.
