1-26760936- The reporter, a pet owner, indicates his animal has been exposed to an insecticidal product containing the active ingredient methoprene. The pet owner stated he had applied the product to his eight year male thirteen pound domestic longhair cat one day prior to his initial contact with the registrant. The pet owner indicated he noted the cat was agitated overnight and the owner had noted dermal irritation and ¿¿¿small bumps on the skin¿¿? of the application site in the morning. The pet owner was advised to wash the animal with a noninsecticidal shampoo and seek veterinary assistance if the signs worsen or persist. The signs seen are unexpected or atypical. The pet owner did not respond to follow up attempts. No further information is available.
