1-26854971- The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her animal may have been exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredient Iron (Ferric HEDTA). The reporter indicated she had applied the product to her lawn the day prior t her initial contact with the registrant. She reporter her eight year female fifty pound dog was on the lawn during application. No discreet exposure incident was described but the pet owner indicated the animal may have ingested some grass. The pet owner indicated the animal had since the access to the application site demonstrated signs of vomiting, anorexia, and lethargy. The pet owner was advised of the potential for gastrointestinal irritation following known ingestion. She was advised the threshold at which she should seek veterinary assistance should signs worsen or persist. The pet owner could not be reached for follow up. No further information is available.
