1-26575379- The reporter indicated exposure to an insecticide containing the active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin. The reporter indicated a pest control operator had sprayed the product in his home to treat for fleas with twenty minutes of the initial contact with the registrant. The reporter indicates he had touched the container of the product and suspects dermal contact with the insecticide because he has touched his face and noted a tingling sensation on his cheek and neck. He has rinsed his skin prior to the contact with the registrant but asks further instructions. The reporter was advised of the potential irritant effect following dermal contact with the active ingredient. He was advised of appropriate decontamination, symptomatic care and the threshold at which medical care should be sought. The reporter did not respond to follow up attempts. No further information is available.
