1-26230903- The reporter, a pet owner, indicates her animal was exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredients 2, 4-d (dimethylamine salt), Mecoprop-p (propionic acid), and Dicamba (dimethylamine salt). The pet owner indicated she had walked her six month male Lhasa Apso dog through an area of application still wet the day prior to her initial contact with the registrant. The pet owner indicated later the day after exposure the animal demonstrated constipation, lethargy, and was having difficulty rising. The pet owner was advised the signs seen were inconsistent with the toxicity profile of the active ingredients. She was advised to seek veterinary care for her animal. On follow up the pet owner indicate the animal was seen by the veterinarian and diagnosed with 'hemorrhoids'. The animal was prescribed a topical corticosteroid and was improving.
