1-26263632- The reporter, a pet owner, indicates her animal may have been exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredient iron (Ferric HEDTA). The reporter indicated her four and one half month male forty eight pound dog may have had access to an application area of the product. The product had been applied two days prior to her initial contact with the registrant to a residential lawn. No observed exposure or access to application area was reported. The pet owner indicated the animal had started vomiting the day prior to her initial report. The pet owner was advised direct ingestion of the active ingredient may elicit gastro intestinal irritation. The caller was advised of proper support for the signs seen and of the threshold at which veterinary assistance should be sought. The pet owner was advised the animal¿s signs were likely unrelated to the potential exposure described. The pet owner could not be reached for follow up. No further information is available.
