1-25298291- The reporter, a customer of the registrant, notified the registrant of a package failure involving herbicide containing the active ingredient pinoxaden and florasulam. The reporter had indicated five drums of the product (unspecified volume) had been observed to have spilled (spillage of unspecified volume). The reporter had indicated two drums had been observed to have leaked on a truck during transit, and three others were observed to have leaked while being handled in a warehouse. The reporter indicated the leaks appeared to be originating from the dip tube side of the drum or the Chem pump hole. The reporter was advised how to make the necessary adjustments to the package to avert further leak. He had indicated minimal product had leaked into the truck and it was allowed to leave his facility without being cleaned. The registrant contacted the transport company responsible for the truck trailer and discussed/arranged for proper clean up. No injury (environmental or otherwise) or exposure was indicated. No further information is available.
