Owner applied product on September 1, 2010. The cat died on 7 days later on September 8, 2010. There is conflicting information on whether a dog or cat product was applied. UPC code provided confirms cat product but the owner made reference to a dog product tube.

Signs, severity and time frame not consistent with exposure. There is a possibility that a dog product was used on the cat. A necropsy was not performed therefore underlying medical issues could not be determined.
