1-25430268- the reporter called to indicate a family members animal may have ingested two herbicidal products containing the active ingredients corn gluten meal, 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, Mecoprop-p, and sulphur. The caller sated they had placed bags of the product in the trash but had not fully closed the garage door and her brothers six year fifty pound male Labrador retriever had gotten into the trash can. The animal had chewed up the bags of the product and had ingested unknown amounts of the product. The exposure had taken place four days prior to the initial contact with the registrant. The caller indicates the animal had developed vomiting the night of the exposure that continued into the next day. The animal had, at that point spontaneously resolved. She reported the animal was somewhat depressed the day of the report, but she was unsure if that was due to the fact that the animal was left in her care (was away from its owner) or due to the exposure. The caller was advised of the primary irritant effect of the product and the threshold at which veterinary care should be sought. On routine follow up the registrant was informed that the animal had fully resolved spontaneously
