On October 22, 2010 the cat began hypersalivating, which ended shortly later. The owner then contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian recommended providing the cat with a taste treat, monitoring for GI signs, managing vomiting if occurs, and bathing the cat if she continues to groom herself and drool.
