The APSS veterinarian stated mild gastrointestinal (GI) upset is possible with oral exposures and dermal hypersensitivity may be seen with dermal exposures. The APSS veterinarian recommended bathing the dog with liquid dish washing detergent, paying special attention to the dog's left hind leg and foot, applying vitamin E and/or vegetable oil to the left hind foot pad.
