On September 2, 2010 the cat began hypersalivating, so the owner bathed the dog with shampoo. Later that day, the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated with this exposure, we could see a taste reaction. The APSS veterinarian recommended providing the cat with a taste treat and applying a spot on flea treatment tomorrow when the pet is dry.
