On July 14, 2010 the owner found the cat salivating after being sprayed with the Zodiac Flea and Tick Spray. The owner then bathed the cat and the cat's symptoms ended. On July 27, 2010 the owner contacted a veterinarian with a question on the Zodiac Powerband Collar. No clinical signs were reported with the use of the collar. The veterinarian stated if the spray is ingested via grooming, a taste reaction characterized by hypersalivation may occur and is resolved by providing a taste treat.
