On May 22, 2010 the owner noticed the dog was symptomatic and later that night began having labored breathing, so the owner removed the collar from the dog. By the next morning, May 23, the dog's signs had ended. The APSS recommended discontinuing the products usage, contacting the manufacturer to discuss her reimbursement questions, and calling back with questions.
