On November 16, 2009 the APSS veterinarian stated signs could be consistent with a taste reaction, or possibly stress from having to wear a collar. The APSS veterinarian recommended the owners prevent further exposure to the collar, monitor the cat closely at home, call back with questions, discontinue product usage, and call the manufacturer to discuss other flea control options.
