Owner applied the advantage18 to the cat for the first time on 8/16/10 due to a flea infestation. The cat was then put in the garage because the owners did not want anymore fleas in the house. Approx 10 hours later the cat was given a flea/tick bath with an unknown shampoo and the cat was extremely stressed during that situation. The cat was then taken out of the bathtub and dried out with a blow dryer which caused the cat to because even more stressed. The owners left the bathroom and when they were away they heard the cat fall and when they walked back into the bathroom they found the cat dead on the floor.

Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

The product had been applied and there were no signs until the cat was put under extremly stressful situations and other products were used (flea/tick shampoo). The product is a topically active product and we do not see systemic activity with this product, therefore the symptoms seen are not expected; the flea-tick shampoo likely removed the product from the cat.
