Product was applied to the cat about 12 hours ago. She came home 45 minutes ago and found the cat ataxic. She does have dogs in the house but the cat did not have contact with the dogs and no products have recently been applied to dogs; cat died a few minutes after the phone conversation

Ataxia not typically observed with appropriate product administration. Unclear if product administration compliant (dosage, application site) as not reported. Cat unwatched for several hours following product application. No information about product ingestion. Death not anticipated with appropriate product administration. No necropsy examination performed to detemine cause of death. Other medical problems cannot be ruled out in such young cat, particularly as vaccination and health history unknown.
