Product was applied to pet on July 9th. Later that night, the cat became symptomatic. Symptoms continued until July 11th when cat was taken to veterinarian. The DVM gave the cat a hydrocortisone injection and SQ fluids. Owner is unsure what diagnostic tests were performed. The caller said the DVM wanted to admit and keep the cat for continued treatment but the DVM would not accept a payment plan so the owner took the cat home instead.

The Prosar Specialist discussed with the owner having a necropsy performed. The Prosar Specialist also explained that the product has a wide margin of safety and low level of toxicity when used according to label directions. At this time it is not known if a necropsy was performed.
