1-24158211- The reporter, a pet owner, indicates her animal was exposed to an insecticide containing the active ingredients pyrethrins, piperonyl butoxide, and N-Octyl Bicycloheptene dicarboximide. The pet owner indicates she used the product, a flea and tick shampoo for dogs, to her four year old female Shih Tzu dog the day prior to the initial contact with the registrant. The pet owner indicated she noted bloody diarrhea in her animal as of today. The caller was advised the symptoms seen would not be expected following exposure by any avenue. She was advised to seek prompt veterinary assistance. The reporter did not respond to follow-up attempts. No further information is available.
