Saturday dog was in yard, caretaker of property had placed "Predator bloks out of reach of pets". The Dog was found playing with a carcass (possibly a rat), Daughter has given a bath to the dog. Dog is currently lethargic. Caller was informed that even if the dog ate half a bar (which no known exposure was confirmed). Dog would have ingested .025 mg per KG of BW Difethialone at .0025% This amount does not exceed the threshold. The Toxic Threshold would have been reached if the Dog would have ingested over 15.9808 g. Caller was advised that symptoms exhibited are not expected from this exposure if body of rat was only played with and to continue to monitor for blood in stools, excessive blood in gums, etc. speak with vet if concerns or if lethargy persists.
