Owner applied product for dogs 15-30 kg on her cat. Later that night, cat started trembling and spitting. Brought the cat to the vet the next morning where they gave the cat a bath. There was immediately an improvement. Then, they gave cat 2cc of methocarbamol by IV. Cat sopped panting and trembling immediately. Kept overnight for observation. The following morning, cat had slight hyperthermia but was sent back home with a one month prescription of methocarbamol (500mg, 1/2 a pill BID to be administered as needed). Went for follow-up at the vet two days later in regards to hyperthermia. Cat's temperature was OK.
